This painting features the entrance to Gervasi Vineyard on a bright sunny day in June. The entrance
is framed in by a purple maple tree, stately fieldstone walls, and a grand archway; featuring hand forged
wrought iron steel, fabricated into the Gervasi name and logo - created and skillfully crafted by local
metalsmiths Darryl Chernikovich and Jim Friedrichsen (of Iron Orchid Forge) - click here to visit Darryl's website!
I chose this lovely scene to paint because of its alluring beauty - which entices the patron to enter the
estate and sample the wines, have dinner in the bistro, or stroll along the patio that overlooks the
beautiful lake and villas.
