This is a painting I did for Camelot Record Company to promote the sales of the movie Raiders of the Lost Art for their record stores.
I worked from the great illustrator, Richard Amsel's painting and even though some critics may scoff at copying another artist's
work, I learned much from doing this painting. Note: Rembrandt made his students copy his own work!

I really enjoyed how Harrison Ford's face came out and it's another tribute to Amsel's ability to utilize beautiful textures in his work.
