The 8th hole at Firestone's West Course was designed after the 12th hole of Augusta with a small green guarded by a creek
and a beautiful stone retaining wall. Built in 1989 and designed by Cornish and Silva, the West Course was well received by
members and guests alike. However, in 2002, after 13 years of play, Firestone decided to redesign the golf course and hired
Tom Fazio to do a total revamp of the golf course - and now this beautiful hole is gone forever!

Fortunately, for my golf print collectors, they can still own a piece of Firestone's history because this print is more valuable
now and I'm still selling it!

The original painting used to hang in the clubhouse at Firestone but I'm not sure where it is now lol!
